I bought a 1990 TT recently. The turbos smoked, so i pulled the engine to change them for new stock units. I found that somewhere in its past, the TT engine had been replaced with an NA engine, but with all the TT externals (exhaust manis, turbos, oil pan, oil filter holder, etc). From what I've read, the NA and TT blocks and cranks are the same, but the pistons and oil squirters are different. I've got a set of TT pistons, but my question is; if I'm not able to locate a set of TT oil squirters soon, so i can start the rebuid, can i just keep the NA squirters? I don't plan to race, so don't expect heavy loads or high temps.
